Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ season winner Mercy Eke has reached out to Victor Osimhen with a heartfelt message following the striker’s failed transfer move during the just-concluded transfer window.
Osimhen was keen on Naples this summer, but his hopes of joining Chelsea or Al Ahli were dashed on transfer deadline day.
Having burnt all bridges with the club, the 25-year-old attacker has been axed from Napoli’s senior team.
During this difficult time, Osimhen has received solidarity messages from a host of Nigerian celebrities, including Mercy Eke, one of the latest to do so.

The hot BBNaija star took to her social media on X to send a heartwarming message to Osimhen, encouraging him and assuring him that things will get better.

This comes after Odion Ighalo, former Super Eagles star, took to social media to express his disappointment at how Nigerians had criticised Victor Osimhen and his camp after his failed move to Chelsea.
Ighalo expressed sadness over the negative comments towards Osimhen from his own country, despite not knowing the full situation.
What next for Osimhen?
Having been removed from Napoli’s squad, Victor Osimhen faces several months without playing any club competitive football.
However, the 25-year-old attacker could feature for his country, Nigeria, in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers, having been named in the Super Eagles’ squad ahead of the games against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
