Victor Osimhen’s surprising move to Galatasaray seemed to have been finalised in a short amount of time.
According to Centre Goals on X, Napoli and Galatasaray have reached an agreement for the 25-year-old striker, with only medicals and signature left.

This comes as a breakthrough for Osimhen who has been banished from Napoli’s first team following his failed moves to Chelsea and Al Ahli.

The Nigerian striker desperately tried to leave Napoli during the summer transfer window but was unable to secure a move away on transfer deadline day, leaving him stuck with the Italian club and with the possibility of being away from club football activities.
Victor Osimhen’s move to Chelsea was hindered as a result of a failed transaction consensus, which saw both parties fail to agree on the striker’s wages.
Reports claim Chelsea were planning on paying him a wage lower than what he was earning at Napoli—a proposal Osimhen rejected.
However, with this new proposal from Galatasaray, which is apparently offering a better wage than Chelsea, Osimhen is most likely to join the Turkish giants.
