Aguero backs Rodri to win Ballon d’Or 2024 award

Aguero tweeted, in response to City tweeting about Rodri’s Ballon d’Or nomination,
“A perfect year, you deserve it. Come on Rodri.”
Rodri became a favourite for the Ballon d’Or 2024 award following his impressive display at the Euro 2024, where he helped Spain win their first European Championship since 2012, also bagging the tournament’s Most Valuable Player Award.

This follows an impressive season with Manchester City, which saw the Spanish midfielder help the Cityzens to a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.
City’s boss, Pep Guardiola, has also thrown his weight behind Rodri to win the Ballon d’Or, while he expressed his excitement to see his player make the shortlist for favourites win the award.
Another football personality who shares this sentiment is Spain national team boss Luis De La Fuente, who led the La Roja to triumph in Euro 2024.
De La Fuente asserted that Rodri is the greatest player in the world and should win the Ballon d’Or in 2024.
