Disgraced Brazilian footballer Dani Alves was seen playing a casual football game in Barcelona just months after his release from prison.

The game was organised using a well-known smartphone app for scheduling neighborhood soccer matches, according to the Spanish publication MARCA.
At first, the former Barcelona star was unrecognised, but as the game went on, his identity became clear, sparking a surge of interest among spectators and fans eager to take photos with the former Barcelona and PSG star.
Alves’ legal problem
Dani Alves’ ongoing legal issues cast a shadow over his comeback to the field.
As previously mentioned, the 40-year-old Brazilian was arrested in January 2023 on charges of sexual assault following an incident that occurred in a Barcelona nightclub in Sutton.
Alves was originally given a 12-year prison term, but he was only given a four and a half-year sentence.
His recent release was subject to rigorous restrictions, including staying in Spain while judicial proceedings are ongoing, and posting a $1 million bail.
