Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta lost interest in Victor Osimhen because of his altercation with his former national team head coach, Finidi George, according to football blogger TeamNewsAndTix as posted by Afcstuff on X.
Recall Sports Buddy reported about Osimhen’s spat with Finidi, where the 25-year-old striker launched a tirade on the ex-Super Eagles boss in an Instagram video.
Why Arsenal reportedly lost interest in Osimhen

TeamNewsandTix have now claimed that this video contributed to Arsenal ending their pursuit for the Nigerian striker. The blogger also claims that Arteta was not only concerned about Osimhen’s attitude but also his high wage demands.
The post read:
”Arsenal’s interest in Victor Osimhen waned at the beginning of the year due to concerns over his attitude & high wage demands. Osimhen’s public spat with the Nigerian national team manager on Instagram also put paid to any interest from the club”
Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga and move to Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen was involved in the biggest transfer drama in the summer window, which saw his intended move to Chelsea and Al Ahli crash on deadline day, due to some undisclosed reasons that were recently revealed by Sports Buddy.
However, the former Lille man eventually secured a move to Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal, with his new club expected to cover €9-10 million of his salary for the year.
