Former Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George, has openly stated his anger and disappointment after not receiving an apology from Victor Osimhen.
The disagreement started after false reports suggested that George had blamed Osimhen for Nigeria’s loss to Benin Republic, warning that he would not beg any player to accept his invitation.

In this heat, Osimnen has lashed out at George via his live Instagram session, as reported previously by Sportsbuddy, claiming that the former is a liar and saying he has nothing but utter disdain for the former Eagles’ assistant coach.
Osimhen stood up for himself, saying to them, “I called him and told him to allow me to come to the camp to be with the boys. I have all these recorded.

Despite the public fallout, Finidi revealed that he reached out to Osimhen to clear the air, but the Napoli striker has not apologised.

Osimhen’s Redemption on the Field

Amid the controversy, Osimhen continues to shine on the pitch. The striker scored his first goal since May during Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.
As he prepares for his debut with Galatasaray, Osimhen is looking to put the off-field drama behind him and build on his recent success.
