Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has experienced an incredible increase in his followings on Instagram, following his impressive debut for Galatasaray.

The reigning CAF African Men’s Player of the Year has found life in Istanbul enjoyable following a drama-filled transfer window that saw his intended moves to Saudi Side Al Ahli and Chelsea collapse.
While at the risk of being frozen out of club football action due to Napoli’s punishment, the attacker secured a season-loan deal with the Turkish Champions, who were eligible to still sign players at the time, given Turkey’s extended transfer window.
The 25-year-old attacker made his debut for his new club against Rizespor last Saturday.
Osimhen provided an assist in the game as the Cimbom Lions trumped their opponent by 5-0.
After his impactful debut, the former Lille man, who has become a fan favourite since his move to the club, was captured climbing up the poles to join Galatasaray supporters in the stands to celebrate the impressive win.

But Osimhen’s fan love was not limited to the pitch.
Just hours after the game, the renowned Super Eagles stars’ following on Instagram surged to 5 million followers, reaching an important milestone in his social media career.
Reports claim the striker’s following had earlier experienced an increase upon signing for the Turkish club.
After the announcement of his transfer on September 3, his Instagram follower count allegedly rose from 4.4 million to 4.5 million within 24 hours.
Victor Osimhen will now look to build on this incredible milestone by opening his goal-scoring account for the club when Galatasaray welcome Gaziantep F.K. in the midweek.
