6 Premier League clubs have failed to register a win in their opening five games of the league season, setting a new record for most in the history of the competition.
Premier League sextuple of Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Southampton, Everton and Wolverhampton Wonderers have all failed to pick up a win after five games into the league season.

Crystal Palace’s stalemate with Manchester United in the final kickoff on Saturday ensured the activation of the poor record. Earlier in the day, Ipswich Town scored a 90+5 minute equalizer against Southampton as both newcomers remain without a win.
Everton and Leicester City also denied each other after a Stephy Mavididi’s second half strike canceled out Iliman Ndiaye’s first-half opener, while Wolves surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose 3-1 at Aston Villa.

The results summed the fact that all six clubs remain without a win a win after each playing five league games this season — this is the first time in history that as many teams have been without a win at this stage of the season.
There is still a long way to go in the relegation battle but the eaely signs are not promising for the newcomers, knowing all three newly promoted sides were relegated from the top-flight last season.
