‘You’re not ok’ – Erik Ten Hag destroys Sky Sports pundit following audacious ‘Rashford rumour’

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag did not let a Sky Sport pundit’s speculation slide, as he gave a brutal response addressing the rumour.

Jamie Redknapp had claimed that “there’s obviously something that’s happened” after Marcus Rashford was dropped against Crystal Palace despite the attacker’s rejuvenated form, which has seen him score three goals and provide an assist in his last two appearances for the Red Devils.

But Ten Hag addressed Redknapp’s insinuations, which implied that there might have been a feud between the Dutch manager and Rashford to warrant the player being dropped.

“I heard already speculation from some pundits. That is crazy,” he said via SunSports.

“I would almost say that, as a person, you are not OK when you bring such speculation if you don’t know. This has nothing to do with it.

The former Ajax boss then debunked the pundit’s claim, stating that there is a healthy relationship between Rashford and himself.

He continued,

“I’m very happy with Marcus, with everything.

“With his defending part, offensive, he scores in this moment, he performs very good.

“We have many games to cover. We have more than a starting 11 of players.

“If the players perform, we will give them their chances.”

Redknapp’s claims would have been met with little surprise considering Ten Hag’s track record of falling out with his players, one of which was a dispute with Jadon Sancho, who recently signed a loan deal with Chelsea.

Sancho has gotten off to an impressive start for the Blues, providing two assists in his first two games for the club.
