Everyone wants us to disappear from the face of the earth, Pep Guardiola has said of his Manchester City side ahead of their Premier League meeting with Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The Premier League champions are currently in a legal battle with the English FA over the 115 charges against them, a process that officially began on Monday at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in London.
Although the final verdict is not expected to be confirmed until early next year, the Spaniard feels “everyone wants us to disappear from the face of the earth”.

Everyone wants us to disappear — Guardiola
Speaking ahead of their meeting with Arsenal in the Ethiad on Sunday, Pep Guardiola said: “I’m sorry to be sometimes arrogant and I want to defend my club, especially in this modern day, like everyone is expecting us to be not just relegated, but to disappear off the face of the earth, in the world”.
Manchester City failed to beat Arsenal in any of their three meetings last season and the Spaniard will be looking to make amends against Mikel Arteta’s side, to keep their 100 percent start to the league season.
