Galatasaray taunt Jose Mourinho with a social media post following their 3-1 intercontinental derby win over arch rival Fenerbache in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday evening.
A Dominik Livakovic own goal, Dries Mertens and Gabriel Sara gave the visitors a 3-0 lead before Edin Dzeko scored a consolation from the spot as it finished 3-1 to Okan Buruk’s men.
The win sees defending champions Galatasaray establish a five-point gap lead on the league summt after six games into the season, while Jose Mourinho’s side remains second, having played two more games than third place Besiktas.

In the wake of their win, the club posted a picture of Jose Mourinho and their coach Okan Buruk on their official X handle, captioning it with “the winner one”.
The caption is an obvious dig at Fenerbache handler Mourinho, who is famously regarded to as the Special One.
The win extended Gala’s unbeaten run against Fenerbache to five, with their last defeat in the intercontinental derby coming more than two years ago, in April 2022.
