A shocking statistic has been revealed in the Manchester City vs Arsenal clash, as two players played the entire game without completing a single pass.
The high-intensity match ended in a last-gasp 2-2 draw after John Stones managed to squeeze the ball into the net after many attempts from the City players.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the Cityzens in the ninth minute, before a moment of magic from new-signing Ricardo Calafiori brought Arteta’s men on level terms.
But Arsenal, known for their proficiency in set pieces, did it again with an unsurprising goal scorer in Gabriel Magalhães, who towered high to head Bukayo Saka’s in-swinging corner into the net.
The game also saw Leandro Trossard sent off for delaying restart, barely six minutes after the goal, which sparked reactions from Arsenal fans.
Manchester City vs Arsenal shocking stats

While Stones’ last-minute equaliser was a huge blow for the Gunners, their fans could take solace in the fact that they earned a point at the Etihad despite having little possession.

Arsenal had just 22% of the ball, a stat that reflected in the performances of some of their players, with Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber failing to make a single successful pass, despite both players being on the pitch for almost the whole game.
According to Squakwa, Timber and Havertz had zero complete passes out of six and five attempts, respectively.
Only two outfield players have played 89+ minutes of a Premier League game and not completed a single pass since @OptaJoe records began:
◉ Kai Havertz vs. Man City (0/5)
◉ Jurrien Timber vs. Man City (0/6)

Arsenal have now earned eleven points from a possible fifteen, and will be looking to take all three points when they welcome newly-promoted Leicester to the Emirates next weekend.
