17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has become the youngest player to score multiple goals on their first Arsenal start in the 21st century following his brace in the Carabao Cup against Bolton Wonderers.
The Hale End graduate has been a part of the first team since his professional debut at Brentford in September 2022 but had not started a match until Wednesday.
Ethan Nwaneri scored his first of the night, his first professional goal in the 37th minute, arriving in the box to fire home a Raheem Sterling‘s low cross.
His second came four minutes after the restart, set-up by Declan Rice, who intercepted a pass from a Bolton defender, and teed up the youngster to make it 3-0 Arsenal.

A brilliant performance from the youngster, who will now look forward to more opportunities from his Manager Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal ran out 5-1 winners on the night with Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice and substitute Kai Havertz all on the score sheet.
