Lamine Yamal‘s run of assisting or scoring in every LaLiga games this season came to an end but the Barcelona star still shone and won the Player of the match against Getafe in Camp Nou on Wednesday.
Barcelona edged the visitors 1-0 thanks to an early strike from Robert Lewandowski, helping them restore their four point lead at the league summit and continue their percent league record this season.

Lamine Yamal, who had been able to assist or score in all six Laliga matches before tonight was unable to add to his tally, despite being very active and effective on the night.
The 17-year-old hot the woodwork once from three shots, and completed four dribbles. Yamal was also crowned the best player in the match.
Lamine Yamal already has eight goal involvements after seven LaLiga games thus season, three goals and five assists. He also won the Young Player of the month of August in the competition.
Barcelona return to action against Osasuna on Saturday and Lamine Yamal will look to return to the goal involvement talks, in a fixture he scored once in three games last season.
