Atalanta faced newly promoted team Como at the Gewiss Stadium and lost 3-2 as Ademola Lookman registered his name on the scoresheet.

The Super Eagles forward, who came back in sparkling-better form for Wetal last week in a 3-2 win against Fiorentina, where he got one goal and one assist, was rested for this game due to his recent fixtures.

Como’s Second-Half Comeback

Atalanta was leading 1-0 at the break thanks to gobal tactician Gian Piero Gasperini. But the tide swayed rather rather very fast in the favour of the orange after the interval.

Shortly after the start of the second half, Gabriel Strefezza scored for Como, and Sead Kolasinac scored an own goal in the 54th minute to give Como the lead.

In a previous report from Sportsbuddy, Colombian full back joined Atalanta on a one year contract.

Ademola Lookman’s Late Effort

Gasperini brought Lookman off the bench when the match was 2-1, but Como attacked and scored another goal after four minutes, increasing the score to 3-1.

In the end, Lookman scored a penalty after Vanja Vlahovic was fouled in the 97th minute to bring the score closer.

Regrettably, the match was 3-2, marking Atalanta’s third loss of the season, while Como celebrated their first win under coach Cesc Fabregas.
