Super Eagles duo of Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella featured in the meeting with Bayern Munich, which ended in a draw as Bayer Leverkusen sets a new record for most games without losing to The Bavarians.

The result makes it four unbeaten for Bayer Leverkusen against Bayern Munich, a run that started in their second league meeting of the 2022-23 season.

It is the longest unbeaten run for Leverkusen against Bayern Munich in their history, since their first meeting in January 1980.

Super Eagles duo of Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella featured in the match. Striker Boniface started the match but had little impact before his withdrawal for Nathan Tella in the 78th minute.

Tella forced a huge save off Manuel Neuer minutes aftwrhis introduction as Leverkusen search for a late winner, which in the end would not come.
