Victor Moses opened his goal-scoring account for Luton Town in a tough 3-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle in the EFL Championship. The 33-year-old Nigerian wing-back, who recently joined the club from Spartak Moscow, started on the bench for the third consecutive match. Despite this, Moses made a significant impact when he came on in the second half.
Plymouth got off to a flying start, with Rami Al-Hajj finishing off a slick passing move to give them the lead in just the eighth minute. Luton had their chances to get back into the game, but Plymouth’s goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw was in inspired form, denying Elijah Adebayo with a series of fantastic saves.
