Chido Obi-Martins’ anticipated move to Manchester United has sparked excitement, especially after a recent video clip from his barber.
The talented international junior who is eligible to play for the Super Eagles recently parted ways with Arsenal when the club could not agree on a new contract with him, with Manchester United rumoured to be gearing for a deal with him.
This move, which had been in the process of waiting for ratification by the English FA, now looks set to be completed.
According to a previous report from Sportsbuddy, Chido’s move to United was heavily influenced by current Manchester United assistant manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy .
A Heartfelt Farewell from His Barber
Obi-Martins can be seen in the video posted on X smiling when his barber is eagerly introducing him: “Guys, this is my starboy once again; I don’t care whether the Devil likes it or not. He will be great.”
The barber said, although he will not be able to see the youngster often, “Well, opportunity knocks and he has to go.” For those of you annoyed by that, it is life!

A Cheeky Warning to Erling Haaland
However, the barber, who proudly supports Manchester City, jokingly told Erling Haaland that Obi-Martins might just endanger his record, making this assertion, “Erling Haaland’s record will be in danger with this guy.”
Obi Martins is expected to join fellow youngsters Sekou Kone and Samuel Lusale at Manchester United with hopes of securing first-team opportunities.
