As Sports Buddy previously revealed, on September 28, Westhoff, who has been dating the Udinese shotstopper for almost four years, took to Instagram to voice her displeasure with the relationship.

The mother of one had accused her partner of disrespecting her family, calling it quit with the 25-year-old goalkeeper.

“I am done with you,” she wrote in one of her posts on Instagram, with fans expressing shock to her explosive rant.

However, Westhoff has now retracted her statement, deleting her initial posts calling out the Super Eagles star, and has issued a heartfelt apology for her actions.

She wrote on her Instagram story,

“I am posting this message to sincerely apologize about the recent activities on my social media. My self-respect matters to me a lot, and unfortunately, I allowed an individual to bring me out of character.

“It was completely out of character of me to do such,” highlighting her desire to learn from the experience.

“I should never have allowed someone to bring me out of character. But I take today as a learning curve to never allow this to happen again.”

She then ended her message by expressing gratitude and stating that the two have made up.

“Gladly, myself and Maduka have resolved our differences and are now looking forward to being the happy family that we are,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Okoye is beginning to experience a dip in form on the pitch, conceding three goals in back-to-back league games. He will now hope his recent off-field success translates into positive performances on the pitch.
