Manchester United legend Ashley Young claimed that Tottenham Hotspur owned Old Trafford in the embarrassing 3-0 win that United suffered.
Spurs took control early, with Brennan Johnson scoring just three minutes into the game, to make it worse for United, their captain Bruno Fernandes was given a red card before the first half ends.

Tottenham continued their scoring in the second half; Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke put the ball into the opponents’ goal.
Young, now with Everton, criticised his former team for their lack of effort and cohesion.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Young remarked, “Manchester United didn’t give anything. No effort, no workrate, no leaders.”

Young’s perceptive conclusions are evidence of the increased disgruntlement among fans.
Manchester United were linked to other managerial targets before the summer, but in the end, the Red Devils opted to retain Erik ten Hag.
However, with performances like this, the Dutchman’s future at the club could soon be in question.
