Lyon’s Super Eagles forward Gift Orban has been excluded from a list of players that will face Toulouse in a Ligue 1 match.
The Nigerian forward was an unused substitute in Lyon’s opening Europa League game to Olympiacos that saw them run out as 2-nil winners.

Struggles for Consistency
Gift Orban was not included in Lyon’s first two Ligue 1 match games in the current season, which saw him dumped out of the club’s plan.
But he was back in the net for Lyon’s third match and rose to the occasion by scoring two goals that saw the team edge Strasbourg 4-3.
Despite his performance, Orban failed to score in the subsequent games after being given two consecutive starts by coach Pierre Sage.
Gift Orban Loses His Spot
As Lyon prepares for their crucial game against Toulouse, Orban has been excluded from the travelling squad, not due to injury but as a decision by Coach Sage.

Sont absents :
– Nuamah, Omari et Orban sont restés à Lyon…
– Lopes est toujours en tribune avec Diawara.
Sont présents :
– Niakhaté est bien revenu de sa blessure ;
– Benrahma revient dans le groupe de L1 après sa belle… https://t.co/yS5dmN8LfY

Lyon have registered only 4 points in 5 games this season, and they will surely try to rake up some points in the forthcoming matches.
The omission of Orban increases the instability of the attacking strength in the team, especially when they are crawling for better performance.
