According to SunSport, the Dutchman will have two games to redeem himself after a disappointing start to their 2024-2025 campaign.
The latest episode in what has been a disastrous season is a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the Old Trafford on Sunday- a result which further compounded the United fans’ frustration, who clamoured for the 54-year-old manager’s sacking.
However, SunSport claim he will remain in charge for this week’s crucial fixtures against Porto and Aston Villa.
Porto, Aston Villa games to determine Ten Hag’s fate

Manchester United will take on Primeira Liga giants, on Thursday in the Europa League. They got off to a disappointing start in the competition, following a 1-1 draw against Twente on matchday one at the ‘theatre of dreams.’
Ten Hag’s side will then make the trip to Birmingham for game week eight’s league encounter against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Meanwhile the Red Devils will be without captain against Villa, following his red card against Spurs, with midfielder Kobbie Mainoo also in doubt for United’s next few games, after being substituted due to injury at halftime on Sunday.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Ten Hag at the club.
