‘Ten Hag out’ – Fans call for manager’s dismissal while pointing out his failures with 2 players

Manchester United fans are calling for Erik ten Hag’s dismissal after a humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

The loss, which saw Spurs dominate despite being without injured captain Son Heung-min, has intensified criticism of the Dutch manager.

Fans took to social media to express their discontent, citing the team’s poor performance and recent struggles.

Despite Erik ten Hag being responsible for signing most of the players, Manchester United supporters feel the manager hasn’t established a clear playing style for the team.

In the 2024–25 season, the Red Devils have managed to win only three out of their eight games. After drawing their last two matches—one in the Premier League against Crystal Palace and another in the Europa League against FC Twente—United hasn’t tasted victory in their past three outings.

Ten Hag quickly became a hot topic on social media, with fans expressing their frustration and pointing out his missteps.

One significant issue was his falling out with club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, which ultimately led to the superstar’s departure to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Fans also couldn’t help but compare Ten Hag’s situation to Enzo Maresca’s impressive start at Chelsea, where he’s seemingly breathed new life into former Manchester United player Jadon Sancho.

One fan wrote, ”Every Manchester United fan that turned on Ronaldo for ten hag should be ashamed.”

Another remarked, ”This fraud nearly ruined Sancho’s career. Now see him enjoying football in Chelsea.

A third wrote, ”Ten Hag has single handedly ruined my passion for football.”

A fourth wrote, ”This man should get out of my club.”

While Ronaldo moved to Saudi side Al Nassr after his fall out with the Dutch manager, Sancho also recently moved to Chelsea and has been in great form since his move.
