One of the latest revelations by Super Eagles forward Victor Olatunji, who expressed his love for music and said he would have been a singer if not a footballer.
The Sparta Prague striker has been in the spotlight following an impressive UEFA Champions League debut, which saw him scoring and assisting, making him the first Nigerian ever to do so at the European top competition.
Football or Music?
When speaking to Isports.blesk, Olatunji was asked what he would be doing if he had not joined football.
He confidently answered, “Probaby singing.” I’m good at it!”
He also enjoys music, and the tunes he listens to also form part of his pre-match warm-up routine.
He said, “I usually listen to gospel music, particularly when preparing for a match.” In any other aspect, it goes with the flow and depends on mood.”
Victor Olatunji’s Cristiano Ronaldo Tribute
In the same interview revealed earlier by Sportsbuddy, Olatunji also spoke about his acquaintance with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Regarding whether he had reached out to Ronaldo after he imitated the Portuguese star, he replied, I never met him, and he never wrote to me. Unfortunately, he’s no longer in the Champions League, so at least with this celebration, I remind him of what he accomplished in this competition.”
Olatunji will now be shifting his attention to Sparta Prague’s next Champions League match against Stuttgart in the hope of replicating his good performance.
