Galatasaray has confirmed that Victor Osimhen begins treatment following his injury in the Super Lig clash with against Kasimpasa on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old finally scored his first goals for the Turkish giants, completing a brace inside the opening 30 minutes of the 3-3 draw in Istanbul, helping Okan Buruk’s side to a 2-0 lead before his withdrawal at the interval due to a discomfort.
Osimhen was a big miss for the final 45 minutes as the visitors scored the only two goals of the second-half, completing a comeback having gone 3-0 down in the first-half.

Galatasaray has now provided an update on the availability of the striker ahead of upcoming games for club and country, with the Super Eagles of Nigeria set to take on Libya in later in the month.

Victor Osimhen will be sidelined for a few days following a muscle injury sustained during the Kasimpasa game. Galatasaray confirmed that Osimhen has underwent a scan.
“The treatment of our football player Victor Osimhen, who felt pain in his upper left posterior muscle during the Kasımpaşa match… has been started,” Galatasaray announce via a club statement.
Victor Osimhen will miss the Europa League trip to Latvia to face RFS on Thursday as well as the league meeting with Alanyaspor on Sunday.

He remains a doubt for the international break.
