‘Rashford is very bad’ – Marco van Basten has strong words to express his feelings about Manchester United, calling out the players and manager.
Marco van Basten has had his say on the current situation at Manchester United in the wake of the loss to Tottenham Hotspur, saying Marcus Rashford is a very bad player.
United fans have been calling for Erik Ten Hag to be relieved of his duties as the manager after their underwhelming start to what was anticipated would be a memorable season.

Speaking in a recent interview, the three time Ballon d’Or winner blasted the players at the club, while also questioning the choices of the manager in the transfer window.
‘Rashford is very bad’ – Marco van Basten blasts Manchester United players
Van Basten said to Ziggo Sport : “Name me one top player at Manchester United? At every top club you see a top player. Rashford is very bad. Bruno Fernandes is a good player, Onana is a good goalkeeper. That’s it. Casemiro is done. Garnacho is a decent player. But nobody carries that team!”
Rashford has had an underwhelming season. He was particularly guilty for Spurs’ opener on Sunday, having cheaply given the ball away to Micky van de Ven and failing to track back.

Marco Van Basten is clearly not a fan of Marcus Rashford. In April, the football legend had this to say about the Mancunian;
“I saw Rashford play against Coventry. What was this guy doing? It was an unbelievable sight. Didn’t make any runs, didn’t try anything on the ball, passing every ball he received straight back.”
He looks like he is playing indoor football with his buddies.”
Marco van Basten criticizes Erik Ten Hag transfer decisions
The 59-year-old also aimed a dig at Manuel Ugarte, questioning Erik Ten Hag’s decisions on signings:
“I saw a new player walking around at Manchester United, (Manuel) Ugarte, for €50million (£42.3m). How is this guy walking around there? It’s idiotic how much (Ten Hag) has decided to invest in players who are not even good.”
