The legendary left-back, known for his thunderous shots and marauding runs down the wing during his playing days, believes that Vinicius is on the cusp of football greatness.
Speaking after Real Madrid’s recent 1-1 La Liga draw against Atletico Madrid, Carlos heaped praise on Vinicius for his calmness and maturity on the pitch.
According to Roberto Carlos, Vinicius has remained super composed under pressure, and it is only a matter of time before he solidifies his place as the top footballer on the planet.
The former Brazil international emphasized that Vinicius is extremely close to reaching the peak of his career and that his performances have been at such a high level that it’s hard to see anyone standing in his way for the Ballon d’Or.
