Super Eagles and Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has revealed two time Champions League winner as his role model.
It was at Watford that Okoye struggled and did not taste the form he regained at Udinese till the time he replaced Marco Silvestri in the last season.

Maduka Okoye’s Tribute to Dida
In an interview with Tutto Udinese, Okoye said that he likes Dida a lot, and he, for one, considers him among the best goalkeepers to ever grace the football pitch.
Okoye expressed his admiration and even made a heartfelt request for guidance from the Brazilian icon:
Hello Nelson, Let me introduce myself. I am a great fan of yours, I guess. It will be great if one day I am lucky enough to see you. This means I’m hoping that you have heard of me, seen your saves, and that I can help grow and get to your level. This is my wish. Greetings.”
Turbulent Period

Okoye’s tribute to Dida comes amid a challenging period both on and off the pitch.
From personal life scandals such as a breakup with his fiance, as well as a terrible performance for Udinese in the recent 3-2 defeat to Inter Milan, as earlier detailed by Sportsbuddy, the Nigerian Super Eagles goalkeeper is keen on coming back stronger.
