Mikel Obi can not but wonder how Jadon Sancho failed at Manchester United after the winger hit the ground running upon arrival at Chelsea, and thanks Erik Ten Hag for gifting The Blues a gem.
Sancho has assisted in all his three appearances at Chelsea, and looks more of his best version, the very one Manchester United spent £72 million to get from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021.
A boyhood Chelsea fan, albeit he hailed from Manchester, the 24-year-old is currently enjoying his football again and just like many football fans, Mikel Obi is in awe of how quickly things turned for the good of the Mancunian.

In one episode of The Obi One Podcast, the former Chelsea midfielder said;
“I can’t understand how Jadon Sancho couldn’t perform at Manchester United when you watch him play now at Chelsea. Thanks, Erik [Ten Hag]!”
Sancho has established himself as a regular starter at Chelsea and the club will surely be keen on activating the buy option on his contract before the end of the season, if he continues to impress.
