The Football Association (FA) could, though, hand Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson retrospective action following his part in a heated brawl during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest.
The fight, stirred by Forest’s Neco Williams butting Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella into manager Enzo Maresca, grew into a scrap between the teams.
Jackson, who had been substituted, joined the fracas and was seen raising his hand towards Forest defender Morato.

Possible FA Charges for Nicolas Jackson and Both Clubs
VAR officials looked at the clash and felt Nicolas Jackson’s actions weren’t worthy of violent conduct at the time, but the FA could still impose sanctions.

Chelsea had already been fined for piling up numerous yellow cards in games before the Forest game, with them being fined £50,000 after the match against Forest for six cautions, including for Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella.
Maresca on the Team’s Reaction
Enzo Maresca, manager of Chelsea, defended the passion displayed by his players during the brawl, denying that emotions had gotten out of hand.
He spoke of the unity of the squad in fighting together and that he didn’t think anyone had crossed the line.
Maresca talked down Jackson’s involvement in the incident, however, saying that a further number of players came to join him on the pitch from the bench.
