Galatasaray has officially placed a ban on fans wearing Victor Osimhen’s famous protective face mask in their stadiums, citing safety concerns and the need to adhere to sports regulations, according to reports from Soccernet.
This decision comes after Osimhen’s mask, which he has worn since suffering a serious head injury in 2021, became a popular item among the club’s supporters.
Since the Nigerian striker joined the Turkish champions on loan from Napoli, fans have embraced the mask as a symbol of support for the Super Eagles star.
