The right-back contributed to eight Lille goals in 29 games on his debut season, while he has also hit the ground running this term, and recently delivered a top class performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
His agent is Jorge Mendes and Barça will look to initiate talks but with the knowledge of the potential competition they will face for his signature.
