Olivier Giroud has revealed that former teammate at the French national team, Antoine Griezmann is in talks over a move to MLS side Los Angeles FC.
As the 33-year-old approaches the end of his contract with Atletico Madrid, which comes to an end in the summer of 2026, there have been speculations whether or not Griezmann will see out the agreement or move on next summer.
Reports suggest that the MLS club made contact in the summer, when they signed Giroud. However, a deal could not progress as Griezmann was focused on Atleti and not ready to move. The club plans to return for the Frenchman next summer.

LAFC are still very keen on Griezmann, and according to Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman said;
“We know that there have already been contacts [between LAFC and Griezmann]. It would be great to meet up with all three of us with Hugo (Lloris).”
