Promising Arsenal defender Cam’ron Ismail is leaning toward playing internationally for Egypt, despite being eligible to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Arsenal Academy alumnus has already arrived in North Africa after receiving a call-up to the Egypt U20s training camp, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 15.
Ismail, who was born and raised in Islington, London, is eligible to play for England and also represent Egypt and Nigeria, via his mother and father, respectively.

Currently, the Egypt Football Association holds a commanding lead over him after persuading the fullback to participate in U19 and U20 training camps, as per Kingfut.
He will be temporarily cap-tied to Egypt if he plays in the November 2024 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ismail will be evaluated by Brazil’s Rogerio Micale, the Egypt U20s coach, at the training camp before he is selected for the 2024 UNAF U-20 Tournament.
Ismail, 17, made his debuts for Arsenal in the EFL Trophy, UEFA Youth League, Premier League 2, and U18 Premier League. He has also been invited to train with the main team.
The teenager joined Arsenal at the U15 level after being scouted while playing in an Elite Development Academy Soccer shop window.
