Yaya Toure picks Andres Iniesta aa best-ever teammate

The Ivorian legend, who spent three seasons with Barcelona having joined from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the summer of 2007, played alongside Andres Iniesta in the Barcelona midfield before Pep Guardiola relegated him to the bench.
When asked to named three standouts amongst the players he shared the pitch with in his days as a professional, Toure said;
“Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta. He was then further pressed to choose just one, and the 41-year-old did not hesitate.
“Messi was top, Iniesta was top, Xavi was great, but I will say Iniesta,” Toure revealed (via Goal). “He had something different. Playing with him, wow! It was something else.”

Toure led a successful career, where he won it all with Barcelona, including the treble in 2009. At Manchester City, he enjoyed success with three Premier League titles, while he also won the AFCON title with Ivory Coast in 2015.
