Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has named Afrobeat Temilade Openiyi, famously known as Tems, as his favourite female Nigerian Artiste now.
The Fulham star is back in the country to represent as the Super Eagles take on Mediterranean Knights of Libya in continuation of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
Nigeria will face Libya twice this month, with their first meeting coming at the Nest of Champions in Uyo on Friday before they kickoff the return leg at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya next Tuesday.

“Tems is my favourite” He said.
Iwobi was born in Lagos and left Nigeria for United Kingdom at the age of four, but 28-year-old never sever his ties with his country of birth.

He is also an active member of the national team despite offers to play for England, the nation he represented at youth level. He has made 67 appearances for the Super Eagles, scoring 10 goals.
Iwobi has also had a fine start to the season, including overtaking Kanu Nwankwo as the Nigeria’s all-time most assist maker in Premier League history.
