Super Eagles interim manager, Augustine Eguavoen, has given a strong warning to winger Samuel Chukwueze ahead of Nigeria’s crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya.
Augustine Eguavoen stressed the importance of making smart decisions on the pitch, especially when it comes to dribbling.
While addressing the media ahead of the Friday clash, the coach pointed out that Chukwueze, a key player for AC Milan, needs to understand when and where to attempt dribbles.

Augustine Eguavoen Speaks on Samuel Chukwueze’s Dribbling
According to Eguavoen, dribbling in the wrong areas can put the team at risk, and he wants Chukwueze to be more cautious in his play.

“You can imagine Chukwueze coming to defence to help, he gets the ball, what does he do, not dribble,” Eguavoen told NFF TV.
“We know how good he is when he has to dribble but he should know where to dribble, he should know where not to dribble.
“If he comes in he has to do his defensive duty. It is a responsibility but he knows what to do, so these are things we go through every now and then.”
