Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui will be sidelined for a lengthy period due to a diagnosis of a cardiac arrhythmia.
The 26-year-old has made himself a regular in the Manchester United backline since completing a summer move to Old Trafford from Bayern Munich.
He has appeared in all of United’s 10 games this season, starting nine. The Moroccan was withdrawn as a precaution at half-time of the stalemate with Aston Villa before the international break.

Noussair Mazraoui sidelined due to a heart condition
Sources indicate that Mazraoui, who had cardiac issues in the past, has undergone a procedure to correct the condition and will be out of until December.
He will miss more than ten Manchester United fixtures before the turn of the year, including important dates against London duo of Chelsea and Arsenal.
He has also withdrawn from Morocco squad for upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Central African Republic. He will play no more part for the Atlas Lions this year.
