Ademola Lookman has been decorated with another individual award as he claims Atalanta’s Player of the Month of September following his astonishing performances during the month.
The Nigerian forward was a standout performer in Atalanta’s six games across all competitions, winning the player of the match in their UEFA Champions League trip to Germany, where they thrashed Shakhtar Donesk 3-0.
Lookman was also a consistent performer in the Serie A, where he had a hand in four goals in as many games with two goals and two assists to help Gian Piero Gasperini’s side move up the table.

With six goal contributions in as many games, the 26-year-old was announced Atalanta’s Player of the month of September ahead of his teammates, on the club’s official X account on Sunday afternoon.
Currently on international duties with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Ballon d’Or nominee will be looking to continue his impressive start to the season when they take on Libya in the Martyrs of February Stadium on Tuesday.
