JJ Gabriel Early Achievements
Gabriel’s success continued to escalate when he won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at an U-16 tournament in Hong Kong, which only increased his profile.
He scored two goals and assisted in just two games and was named Man of the match by Manchester United legend Dimitar Berbatov.

‘Kid Messi’ and ‘Mini Neymar’ comparisons
The nickname ‘Kid Messi’ is more than just a moniker.
This was one of his best goals, cutting inside onto his left foot and finishing low into the corner, which is similar to Messi’s trademark style.
His dazzling footwork has also been compared to Neymar, with one academy source hailing him as a’mini Neymar’ for his one-on-one.
Gabriel’s skills have seen him become one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the Manchester United academy.
Gabriel’s rise is a sign of hope for the future at Old Trafford, given the current state of the senior team.
