'It destroys me' - Pep Guardiola names on team he wants to avoid in the UEFA Champions League
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reiterated his love for Barcelona as a reason for the club being the only side he wants to avoid in the UEFA Champions League.
The Spanish tactician enjoyed four successful years managing the Spanish club after already representing them as a player during his years as a professional.
Guardiola has managed Bayern Munich before moving to Manchester City since his departure from Barcelona in 2012. However, he has never been shy of confessing his love for the Catalan giants.

“I hope not to face Barça in Champions League. The love and affection I have for Barça destroys me. I was lucky and happy in Barcelona, it’s the team of my heart”.
“I was born in a small town nearby, facing them is never easy”. He added.
Pep Guardiola has won three UEFA Champions League titles, two with Barcelona and one with his current side Manchester City, and is regarded as one of the best coaches of all time.
