Nigeria’s winger, Nathan Tella, has voiced his displeasure regarding his limited playing time at Bundesliga giants, Bayer Leverkusen.
Tella joined the German champions from Premier League side Southampton last summer, hoping to make a significant impact in the team.
However, the 25-year-old has found it difficult to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup.
Despite his talent and efforts, he has struggled to break into the first team and get the minutes he desires on the pitch.
Last season, Nathan Tella managed to feature in 24 league games, but the majority of those appearances came as a substitute.
This season, he has only been able to make three league appearances, which has left him feeling frustrated.

Nathan Tella Expresses Frustration Over Lack of Playing Time
Tella recently expressed his disappointment with the situation at the club, revealing that he is not happy with his current role and lack of consistent playing time.

“It’s frustrating, to be honest. But I spoke to the coach. He assured me that I will get opportunities and that I have to be patient.
“When I get a chance, I have to show myself. I think I’ve done well, and I also think I’m training well.
“Now it is up to the coach to have the confidence to use me. He makes the decisions – and they work well,” he told German newspaper, BILD.
