Mohammed Kudus scored his tenth Premier League goal when he opened the scoring for West Ham United against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon, equaling the tally of Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan in the competition. He was then sent off with a straight red card later in the game.

Despite his poor outing with the Black Stars of Ghana during the international break, the 24-year-old looked to have put it all behind him as he fired home from a Jarrod Bowen’s cutback to break the deadlock 18 minutes into the game in North London.
West Ham United however conceded four goals, three of which came in the second-half through Yves Bissouma, Heung-Min Son and an Alphonso Areola own goal, adding to Dejan Kulusevski’s first-half equalizer.

Mohammed Kudus eqauls Asamoah Gyan PL record
With 10 Premier League goals since joining The Hammers at the start of last season, Mohammed Kudus equals the amount of goals scored by Asamoah Gyan in the competition.

Asamoah Gyan made 34 appearance in the competition during his stint with Sunderland between 2010 and 2012. Kudus would end up being sent off following a push to the face of Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven.
Kudus is now ruled out for the meeting with Manchester United next weekend. Huge blow for Julen Lopetegui.
