Victor Boniface was involved in a ghastly car accident last night while heading home after leading Bayer Leverkusen to a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Yesterday was full of drama for Nigeria striker Boniface as he wenr from missing a penalty to scoring the match winnning goal for the Bundesliga champions as they come from behind to beat Stuttgart on league return.
Boniface scored his sixth goal of the season to ensure Xabi Alonso‘s side keep their place in the top four with the competition so tight at the top early in the season.

The striker confirmed the incident on his social media handle with multiple posts, stating “Na so una for hear say my enemy don die” in one of them.
In another, he wrote the caption ‘God say my time never reach’.

Bayer Leverkusen will return to action on Wednesday against French side Brest in the UEFA Champions League and it remains to be seen if Boniface will be in the condition to makes the trip.
