A solid 2-0 win over Venezia began Atalanta’s run of seven matches in 22 days, the first of two promising home fixtures.

Recent Challenges and Lookman’s Role
Despite Lookman being Atlanta’s top offensive threat, Gasperini preferred to replace him in favor of the team’s defensive unity.
This season, Lookman has made full starts on just three occasions, including against Real Madrid, Fiorentina, and Bologna.
Lookman was also among 22 Nigerian players stranded in Libya before he returned to Abuja with the help of the Nigerian government.
