La Liga has officially submitted a request to the Spanish football federation to host the Barcelona – Atletico Madrid league match in Miami.
The final round of games in the Spanish top division will kickoff simultaneously on the 22nd of December, and Barcelona has been scheduled to play host to Atletico Madrid in the Lluis Companys Olympic stadium.

La Liga purposing Barcelona – Atletico in Miami
La Liga on Friday submitted the request to the Spanish football federation, who is now processing the feasibility before making a final decision.
If the request is granted, the match will be held at The Hard Rock Stadium, home of Inter Miami FC, employer of former Barcelona quartet of Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez.
Barcelona currently lead the way in the competition, three points ahead of Real Madrid before the two clash in the Clasico later today. Atletico is in third, seven points behind Hansi Flick’s side.
