What Graeme Souness said in 2022
Graeme Souness, speaking in one episde of White and Jordan on Talksport in November 2022 believed that the club was wrong to get behind Erik Ten Hag.
“In five years, Erik Ten Hag will be away from the club and nobody will talk about him and his spell at Man Utd ever again. But in 55 years, Ronaldo will be remembered as arguably the greatest to have kicked a football.”
Although not all shared his sentiment at the time, many have seen the light in recent times as Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, wherr he currently enjoys his football while Erik Ten Hag went on to set some lows as Manchester United boss.
