Victor Osimhen was a notable absentee in Galatasaray training on Saturday but only as a precaution according to the club.
Osimhen was uninvolved as Orkan Buruk’s side return to the grass on Saturday in preparation for their upcoming fixture in the UEFA Europa League against Tottenham at home.
Osimhen, who scored the winner against Besiktas on Monday night to help his club establish a six point gap lead at the league summit has enjoyed an impressive start to life in Turkiye.
However, injuries has threatened to halt his form. He missed two weeks of action last month, which saw him boycott the international engagement with the Super Eagles.

As Galatasaray train ahead of their meeting with Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, Buruk will hope Osimhen will continue his impressive form for the club.
There is no indication yet that the striker, who has scored four goals and assisted three times for the Super Lig champions, will return to training on Sunday, although he is believed to be without an injury.
