France’s Preparation Ahead of Tournaments
With the Super Falcons (WAFCON) and Les Bleues (Euro 2017) occupying separate paths, the two sides will both use the friendly as a boost and a test ahead of their own battles.
The spring will see France play in the League of Nations, and the summer will see the 2025 UEFA Euro Women’s Championship in Switzerland.
It is only the seventh time Les Bleues have played in Angers, which gives this encounter added weight as both sides look to sharpen their squads for major competitions next year.
