Nigeria eligible striker Samu Omorodion has earned a first international call up to the Spanish national team following a spectacular season for Porto and the Spanish youth team.
The young striker moved to the Por,tuguese side at the start of the season after a failed move to Premier league side Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
He has hit the ground running scoring eleven goals in eleven games, of which he only started nine — He is so far the joint top scorer in the UEFA Europa League with four goals.
In the last international break, Samu was on show with the Under-21, where he scored four goals in the first-half of a 6-0 win over Malta.

Samu has been included in the latest squad named by Luis de la Fuente for the European champion’s upcoming fixtures against Denmark and Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League.
